Tidal Blend & Brew is a beachside coffee shop designed to make the experience of getting a cup of coffee feel fresh, open, and connected to the shore. From the moment someone steps up to the counter, they can see the entire brewing process happening right in front of them: grinding, blending, and pouring. The smell of fresh beans mixes with the sound of waves just beyond the boardwalk, creates a sensory experience from the moment you walk in. It is also designed to have a fully open roll-up door that allows the ocean breeze to drift through the space, blurring the line between the café and the beach.
I wanted the interior to feel relaxed and naturally tied to its surroundings using light woods, coastal colors, and playful patterns to create a calm space that focuses on the energy of the brewing process. Every design decision was guided to make the café feel approachable, familiar, and welcoming. Whether someone stops by after a swim or wanders in from the boardwalk, Tidal Blend & Brew is mean to feel like a space where you can pause, breathe, and enjoy a drink made with care. It's not just a coffee shop, but a place that feels open, familiar, and ready to welcome anyone that wanders in from the shore.
