Tidal Blend & Brew is a beachside coffee shop designed to make getting a cup of coffee feel fresh, open, and connected to the shore. From the moment customers step up to the counter, they can see the entire brewing process happening right in front of them—from grinding and blending to pouring. The smell of fresh coffee mixes with the sound of waves just beyond the boardwalk, creating a sensory experience from the moment you walk in. The café also features a fully open roll-up door, allowing the ocean breeze to flow through the space and blur the line between the café and the beach.
I wanted the interior to feel relaxed and naturally connected to its surroundings, using light woods, coastal colors, and playful patterns to create a calm and welcoming space that puts the focus on the energy of the brewing process. Every design decision was made to make the café feel approachable, familiar, and inviting. Whether someone stops by after a swim or wanders in from the boardwalk, Tidal Blend & Brew is meant to feel like a place where you can pause, breathe, and enjoy a drink made with care. It’s not just a coffee shop, but a space that feels open, familiar, and ready to welcome anyone coming in from the shore.
